Russia has no hospitality plans for Assad & "SYRIA FILES" + Updates

Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad

The Syrian uprising began over one year ago, so far an estimated 17,000 civilians have been killed. Initially people were being killed simply for protesting against the regime, before long people knew of someone that had been killed or tortured. The domino effect of government killing had given the Syrians no other option but to retaliate.
