The Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat may have been poisoned according to a new investigation into his death. His widow would like his body to be exhumed for further tests. A Swiss institute in Lausanne examined a collection of Arafat's clothing.
“I can confirm to you that we measured an unexplained, elevated amount of unsupported (unnatural) polonium-210 in the belongings of Mr. Arafat that contained stains of biological fluids,” said Dr. Francois Bochud, the director of the institute.
